Attentat terroriste à Barsalghio : Le mali et le Niger envoient des émissaires pour compatir avec peuple burkinabé (Fr, An, Sw)

Ouagadougou, 2 septembre 2024. - Le Président du Faso, le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE, a reçu, ce lundi matin en audience, des émissaires du Président du Niger, le Général Abdourahmane TIANI, et de son homologue du Mali, le Colonel Assimi GOITA, Président en exercice de la Confédération « Alliance des États du Sahel ».

Conduite par le ministre d’État, Ministre de l’Administration territoriale et de la Décentralisation du Mali, le Colonel Abdoulaye MAIGA, la délégation, comprenant également le ministre de l’Intérieur du Niger, le Général Mohamed TOUMBA, a traduit la compassion et la solidarité des présidents de l’AES et de leurs peuples respectifs au Président du Faso et au peuple burkinabé à la suite de l’attaque terroriste survenue le 24 août 2024 à Barsalghio.

« Nous avons appris avec une grande tristesse et affliction les événements malheureux, l’attaque terroriste lâche ayant visé des populations paisibles de Barsalghio. Il n’y a pas que le Burkina qui est éploré, c’est toute la Confédération Alliance des États du Sahel qui est endeuillée », a déclaré le ministre d’État en charge de l’Administration territoriale du Mali, porte-parole de la délégation, le Colonel Abdoulaye MAIGA.

Il a également rappelé la détermination des trois Chefs d’État de l’AES à lutter pour l’éradication du terrorisme dans l’espace. « Tout ce qui est fait comme effort va dans ce sens. L’éradication totale du terrorisme dans l’espace AES est un objectif qui sera atteint grâce au leadership de nos Chefs d’État », a-t-il indiqué.

Selon le ministre Abdoulaye MAIGA, la pression militaire engrange des résultats sur le terrain. « Les groupes terroristes évitent de plus en plus les cibles militaires pour s’attaquer à des populations paisibles. L’objectif est clair, c’est d’atteindre le moral de nos populations. Cet objectif ne sera jamais atteint », a rappelé le ministre malien.

Il est convaincu que les attaques contre les populations civiles ne pourront pas entamer le moral et la détermination des Chefs d’États à atteindre tous les objectifs qu’ils se sont assignés en mettant en place la Confédération « Alliance des États du Sahel ».

Terrorist Attack in Barsalghio: Envoys from Niger and Mali Presidents Express Compassion and Solidarity with the Burkinabe People

"We learned with great sadness and sorrow about the unfortunate events, the cowardly terrorist attack targeting peaceful populations of Barsalghio. It is not only Burkina that mourns; the entire Alliance of Sahel States Confederation is in mourning," declared the Minister of State in charge of Territorial Administration of Mali, spokesperson for the delegation, Colonel Abdoulaye MAIGA.

He also recalled the determination of the three Heads of State of the AES to fight for the eradication of terrorism in the region. "All efforts made are in this direction. The total eradication of terrorism in the AES area is an objective that will be achieved thanks to the leadership of our Heads of State," he stated.

According to Minister Abdoulaye MAIGA, military pressure is yielding results on the ground. "Terrorist groups are increasingly avoiding military targets to attack peaceful populations. The objective is clear: to undermine the morale of our populations. This objective will never be achieved," the Malian minister emphasized.

He is convinced that attacks against civilian populations will not undermine the morale and determination of the Heads of State to achieve all the objectives they have set by establishing the "Alliance of Sahel States" Confederation.

Wakiongozwa na Waziri wa Nchi, Waziri wa Utawala wa Mikoa na Uhamasishaji wa Mali, Koloneli Abdoulaye MAIGA, ujumbe huo, ambao pia ulijumuisha Waziri wa Mambo ya Ndani wa Niger, Jenerali Mohamed TOUMBA, ulieleza huruma na mshikamano wa marais wa AES na watu wao kwa Rais wa Faso na watu wa Burkina Faso kufuatia shambulio la kigaidi lililotokea tarehe 24 Agosti 2024 huko Barsalghio.

"Tulijifunza kwa huzuni kubwa na maumivu kuhusu matukio mabaya, shambulio la kigaidi la aibu lililolenga watu wa amani wa Barsalghio. Si Burkina pekee inayohuzunishwa; Muungano mzima wa Nchi za Sahel unahuzunishwa," alisema Waziri wa Nchi anayeshughulikia Utawala wa Mikoa wa Mali, msemaji wa ujumbe, Koloneli Abdoulaye MAIGA.

Alikumbusha pia azma ya viongozi watatu wa AES katika kupambana na kuondoa ugaidi katika eneo hilo. "Kila juhudi inayofanywa inaelekea katika mwelekeo huu. Kuondoa kabisa ugaidi katika eneo la AES ni lengo ambalo litafikiwa kupitia uongozi wa viongozi wetu," alisisitiza.

Kulingana na Waziri Abdoulaye MAIGA, shinikizo la kijeshi lina matokeo mazuri kwenye ardhi. "Makundi ya kigaidi yanakwepa zaidi malengo ya kijeshi ili kushambulia watu wa amani. Lengo ni wazi: kuathiri morali ya watu wetu. Lengo hilo halitafikiwa kamwe," alisisitiza waziri wa Mali.

Anaamini kwamba mashambulizi dhidi ya watu wa kiraia hayawezi kuathiri morali na azma ya viongozi wa Nchi kufikia malengo yote waliyoweka kwa kuanzisha Muungano wa Nchi za Sahel.
